Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Introduction to Creative Writing Course and Summer Fiction School
Where the client withdraws from the course, and notifies the Creative Hub by email three working days or more prior to the course start date, they will be eligible for a total refund of any fees. Students withdrawing after this period will not be eligible for any refund. Students enrolled on the Online version of these courses will not be eligible for a refund of fees once course modules have been sent out.
Thirty Week Fiction Course and Advanced Fiction Course
Students withdrawing before the course has started will be eligible for a total refund of any fees paid less an administration charge of $50. Students who withdraw within the first eight days of this course, will be eligible for a total refund of fees paid, less an administration charge of $480. Students withdrawing after the first eight days of the course will be liable for their full course fee.
Payment of Accounts
Accounts for fees and expenses owing to the Creative Hub are required to be paid by the due date (s). The Creative Hub reserves the right to withdraw services until outstanding accounts have been met. End of semester academic records and readers reports may be held until students’ accounts are up to date.
Late Payments
Where overdue client accounts are sent to a debt collection agency for recovery, The Creative Hub will also charge an additional fee to cover the expenses of such an agency.
Replacement of Tutors, Cancellation of Classes, Rooms.
The Creative Hub reserves the right to replace an advertised tutor with another of similar expertise in the event of illness or unavailability. In the event of a cancelled class due to tutor illness or unavailability, or other reasons, an alternative class date will be set. The Creative Hub reserves the right to change rooms / venue of classes.
